Tom Brady and Logan Paul Clout; Why Tom?
While appearing at Fanatics Fest in New York City, Tom Brady was caught on video delivering a slap to the side of Logan Paul’s head.
The slap appears to be the latest addition to the staged Brady/Paul rivalry that’s setting up the worst WWE Event of all time (I think). Earlier this year, Brady and Paul, competed against one another in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, a competition where two teams mostly comprised of current and former NFL players attempted to beat the U.S. Men’s National Flag Football Team.
Across three games played by the USMNT, they went 3-0 and beat the NFL hybrid teams by a combined score of 106-44.
Tom Brady and Jalen Hurts led one of the NFL Teams. Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels led another, that included Logan Paul playing linebacker (Or whatever you’d call that spot in flag). Paul’s team wound up beating Brady’s.
After the event, Paul posted a fake apology video. “I’d like to apologize to Tom Brady for applying so much pressure on you, play after play after play that had you literally fearing for your life.” Paul said in the video. “I understand that you’re older. It’s not like you could go anywhere. And you got frustrated, which is why you threw the ball at me. I want you to know that I forgive you for that, because that’s what real men do.”
Back in March, Brady was asked if anyone in the WWE could sack him in a football game. “All their stuff is so cute and scripted and they know what’s going on.” Brady said to Sports Illustrated. “In a football game you don’t know it. So they wouldn’t even get me. Plus, if I had a good offensive line, they’d punch those guys right in the throat and they’d be probably crying and there’s no fake B.S we do in American football. So for those guys, it’d be a whole different story.”
Brady seems to have changed or adjusted his tune recently. “I think I could get in there for at least one match,” Brady said at Fanatics Fest on Thursday. “Come on, Nick. Make it happen.”
Shortly after speaking at Fanatics Fest is when Brady slapped Logan Paul.
Quick takes:
Why does Tom Brady have any interest in WWE? It’s already pathetic when Pat McAfee participates in the fake sporting event. Why does the most decorated football player of all time want to?
The gimmicks are annoying. I believe for .0 seconds that Tom Brady and Logan Paul have a legitimate beef. The video of Brady slapping Paul, was not only posted by Fanatics, but has a Fanatics Fest Inc stamp on it.
If the video was legit, it would have come from TMZ or NY Post. Not the host of the event, with the crying (laughing) emoji! I also doubt Tom Brady, the guy who literally smashed his phone to hide evidence of deflategate, would post an incriminating video of himself committing assault.
Logan Paul would kick Tom Brady’s ass in a real fight, and it wouldn’t even be close. (I take no pleasure in saying that, by the way).
